Together, we clarify how counseling can best support you, establish high-level goals, and celebrate progress along the way.

Life Experiences

Traumatic experiences, life-altering events, illness, and major life transitions can make everyday responsibilities feel overwhelming. You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. I offer a supportive, collaborative path toward healing, clarity, and overall wellness.

Self Regulation

A central focus of our work is understanding and regulating the body’s natural stress responses—fight, flight, or freeze. When these protective responses remain activated, they may show up as anxiety, depression, emotional avoidance, difficulty expressing needs, or patterns that interfere with your goals. We explore practical, body-based tools to support self-regulation, build resilience, and restore balance.

Lasting Change

As our work deepens, we reflect on both past and present experiences and how they influence your current life. We consider what moves you toward—or away from—the life you want to create. Through insight, reflection, and meaningful dialogue, you develop greater self-awareness and take intentional steps toward lasting change. Goals and self-regulation tools are revisited and refined as your needs evolve.

Diving Deeper

I believe that many challenges we experience in adulthood are rooted in early life experiences. Together, we gently explore these patterns by honoring what you are experiencing in the present while building an understanding of where these experiences began. By compassionately listening to your “inner child” parts, you can gain insight into emotional and behavioral patterns and begin cultivating a deeper sense of understanding, integration, and wholeness.

Mindfulness is a foundational element of my therapeutic approach. Through intentional, nonjudgmental awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences, mindfulness invites you to relate to your inner world with curiosity and care. This expanded awareness creates space for healing, supports emotional regulation, and helps you reconnect with meaning, purpose, and direction in your life.

Healing begins in connection. Relationship-based counseling centers the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for growth and lasting change. Our early work focuses on building trust, emotional safety, and a shared understanding of your goals, needs, and hopes for therapy.

I offer culturally responsive, LGBTQIA-affirming care and am deeply committed to creating a space where you feel genuinely seen, respected, and supported—exactly as you are. I am especially passionate about supporting women through the many phases and transitions of life, and together we will explore approaches that align with your values and support your healing and personal growth.
