Throughout 2015 we will be gathering to celebrate the solstices and equinoxes, which are the first days of each season. On the Spring/Vernal and Autumnal Equinox, day and night are each approximately 12 hours long. On the Summer Solstice, we enjoy the most daylight of the calendar year and the Winter Solstice is the darkest day of the year. See First Days of Seasons – Almanac.com for more information.
Dates for these events are:
Spring/Vernal Equinox March 20
Summer Solstice June 21
Autumnal Equinox September 23
Winter Solstice December 21
